Forklift & Handling Equipment Training

Course duration is dependent on skill level, number of candidates on a course, and trainees’ progress throughout the course. If, in our professional opinion, we consider a candidate is not safe to operate at the end of a course, we will not certificate them and will recommend any remedial or additional action required. This is a rare occurrence; however, it may mean they need extra time and advice to complete their course.

We keep employers updated on progress throughout the course duration and advise on any potential issues as they arise. We offer consistently high-quality training throughout Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.

Our instructors can attend your site, warehouse, factory, or industrial premises to provide excellent instruction at every level. Alternatively, our training facility is available for off-site courses on counterbalance and reach trucks. We welcome all enquiries for advice on training, equipment maintenance/acquisition, warehouse design & layouts, and Health and Safety training and advice.

All Forklift truck training courses have a maximum ratio of 3:1:1, meaning 3 trainees, 1 instructor/examiner, and 1 truck or machine. Some courses, such as vehicle banks person, slinger/signaller, and Health and Safety courses, may allow for an increased number of candidates.

We cater for all skill levels, from complete novices, semi-experienced with limited previous experience, experienced operators who are competent and have a considerable amount of prior operating experience, safety refresher and conversion courses for delegates that already hold recognised UK qualifications. We also offer familiarisation and assessment courses for employees that have come from a different company or working environment. Each course is tailored to your site-specific requirements.

Due to the wide range of courses offered and skill levels we cover, course durations can vary. Some courses, including familiarisation and assessment, may be completed in half a day, whilst certain other courses can take up to 5 days or more.
